Trans Salzberg Mountain Loop II

This scenic ride starts in Bad Aussee. Heading out via Altaussee, the route travels to lovely Hallstaettersee Lake. The wonderful lakeside and forest path adds interest and a warm up for things to come. After passing Obertraun, the trail climbs steadily up into Echern Valley and all the way up to Rossalm and Gruberalm. The efforts are highly rewarded with a fast downhill to Gosausee Lake and the last gentle section takes you from Gosau to Bad Goisern and back to Bad Ischl.
